Kon Tiki Sky granted licence for double daily Skopje - Bucharest flights

The macedonian CAA has granted license to the romanian airline Alfa Air ( Kon Tiki Sky ) for operating double daily flights between Skopje and Bucharest Otopeni, for the period between 18.06 and 30.09.2012.

Alfa Air flights are were showing up in the schedule on the Skopje Airport's official webpage ( here the SKP schedule for 18.06.2012  ). However, this airline should be continued to be treated with caution, as all their plans in operating flights in the past have never realized.

The airline on its website (kontikisky.com) is currently advertising flights from Skopje to the following destinations: Basel, Stuttgart , Düsseldorf-Weeze, Berlin, Hamburg and Malmö all with a stop in Bucharest.

Update 12.03.2012

according to their website , Kon Tiki Sky is now selling tickets only for Bratislava and its Italy bound flights (Ancona, Milan-Bergamo, Bologna, Triest and Rome) , all flights apparently to be begin on 07.05.2012.

The start of the ticketsale for the rest of their distionations is pushed back to May,  and in the meantime they have axed their plans for opening a "base" in Antwerp.

There is no official information from the macedonian authorities regarding this development yet, and all this sudden change of routes and schedules is rather dubious.
