Belle Air is launching flights to two more destinations from Skopje: Rome( FCO) and Düsseldorf

twice weekly ( thu and sun) flights to Rome are starting on 15.12 :

flights to Düsseldorf are starting on 10.12, twice weekly during the holiday period (December)
then continuing one weekly on Wednesdays:

Belle Air is also flying to Venice and Ancona from Skopje

The italian low cost carrier Blue-Express with the begin of the winter schedule (30 Oct) is starting 2 weekly flights (thursdays and sundays)  between Skopje and Rome Fiumicino (FCO)

New details regarding the opening of the new airport in Skopje

Rumours say that Turkish Airlines will be the first airline landing on the new Alexander the Great airport in Skopje, with Erdogan (turkish prime minister) beeing the special guest.

This was somewhat expected, knowing the partnership between TAV (the turkish operator of the macedonian airports) and Turkish Airlines.
